There are people who are content in living a simple and comfortable but there are also those who are always hungry for more because they know that they have what it takes to ascend all the way to the top and I belong to the latter group therefore it goes without saying that I push myself hard each and every day to move closer to all of my biggest dreams and highest goals in life. But even though I am perfectly happy with my dream job because I am pursuing my passion, igniting positive change in this world and making a big difference in the grand scheme of things, there are times when I am on the verge of breaking down to pieces and collapsing under the sheer weight of the problems and worries that I carry on my aching back and chafing shoulders. But instead of succumbing to the pressure, throwing my hands up in the air in resignation and admitting defeat without putting up a decent fight, I just take a big step back from it all and look for different ways to rest and relax so that I can gather my thoughts and relieve some stress.

Aside from working out in the gym with my personal trainer to release feel-good endorphins, drinking a few bottles of my favourite beer in the local watering hole with my colleagues after work as well as tinkering under the hood of my car to calm my nerves, I love to travel all over the globe with my friends and family. We really had fun during the walking tours in Singapore because the Lion City has so much to offer to the tourists and visitors due to the fact that even if it is a highly industrialized, technologically advanced and commercially centred country, it still retained its rich cultural history through the years without compromising the way of life and core beliefs of the citizens. And that is the reason why aside from enjoying culinary delights during the sumptuous food tour in Singapore, we also enjoy learning more about the places that we visit as we meet new people and make new friends along the way.

With that in mind, aside from listening to our tour guide during the Chinatown walking tour in Singapore as he feeds us with colourful facts, interesting trivia and important information about the intriguing places and historic landmarks that we visit, we also make it a point to listen to the personal stories and real anecdotes of the people that we meet. I believe that it makes us better citizens of the world as we open up our eyes, minds and hearts to our fellowmen because we see them for who they really are without social masks, pretensions, ulterior motives and hidden agendas.

In conclusion, even though it is perfectly fine for people to develop a great work ethic as they dedicate their strength, energy and efforts to their respective careers, it is also important for them to slow down, ease their foot off the gas pedal and enjoy some relaxing downtime with their friends and family. And one of the best ways to do that is to travel around the world, meet real people who can touch their lives in so many ways and learn more about themselves which is impossible if they always stay in their comfort zone and safety bubbles.
